Minimum Education and Experience

Bachelor’s degree and two years office administration or project management experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

First point of contact for current JSOM students that visit the office, call, or email, and provide them with information and/or make adequate referrals. Manage Advising email inbox, correctly answering basic inquiries or routing emails to the correct advisor or corresponding UTD/JSOM department.

Must efficiently manage a high volume of student interactions. Administratively support office by managing advising-related paperwork, scheduling appointments, and maintaining student records. Participate in training of new front-desk staff and assist in managing student workers.

Remote Work Notice
A hybrid remote work schedule may be available (currently 1-day remote weekly). Employees must be located within the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex area and have the ability to be on campus for work activities as scheduled and/or with 24-hour notice. Completion and approval of a UT Dallas Remote Work Agreement will be required upon employment, and use of personal computer, internet, and other standard equipment may be required. Remote work arrangements are subject to regular review and re-approval and may be canceled at any time.
