This is a wonderful opportunity to join a team of 8 full-time audiologists and 2 licensed audiology assistants and practice at the top of audiology licensure! The Callier Center for Communication Disorders has been dedicated to helping children and adults with speech, language, and hearing disorders for over 60 years. We are a busy community non-profit clinic operating on two campuses and we see over 4000 patients per year. In addition, we serve as the training clinic for the 3rd ranked doctor of audiology program, the University of Texas at Dallas, and we participate in translational research finding ways to move research to the clinic and have a direct impact on patient care!

The Audiologists scope of practice for this position will include:

The performance of diagnostic and therapeutic audiological services on patients’ birth to adults who have or wish to rule out hearing loss as the source of their communication disorders. This would include hearing aid dispensing and fitting of assistive technology when appropriate.

The performance of diagnostic evaluations on infants to include threshold diagnostic auditory evoked potential testing on naturally sleeping infants to confirm or rule out hearing loss.

Opportunities to provide pediatric and adult vestibular testing if the applicant is experienced in the performance of VNG, CVEMP, OVEMP, rotary chair, VHIT, and Gans SOP testing.

For recent graduates with no experience, the salary range is $75,000- $78,000.

Minimum salary increases based on years of experience.

$1500.00 annual professional development funds are provided to each audiologist for continuing education, license, and certification renewals.

Monogrammed lab coats and scrub uniforms are provided.

UT Dallas Benefits:

Master’s degree in Audiology. Certification by American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. License holder or qualified to obtain license to practice Audiology in the State of Texas within 60 days of employment.

Doctor of Audiology (AuD) Degree awarded by June 1, 2024.

Must be licensed (or eligible for license) to practice audiology in the state of Texas and be certified by either the American Speech-Language – Hearing Association or the American Board of Audiology by start of employment.
