Job Summary | The Research Data Specialist I will support data collection, analysis, and reporting for institutional assessments (QEP, Core Curriculum, University Surveys). The specialist will also support the assessment team by coordinating professional development opportunities (e.g. workshops/webinars) for university employees, presentations and events. This position will report to the Director of Administrative Assessment and will be part of the assessment team in the Office of Institutional Success and Decision Support (OISDS). The OISDS unit reports to the Associate Vice President for Institutional Success and Decision Support (AVPISDS), who also serves as the institutional liaison to the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC) and to the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board (THECB). |
Minimum Education and Experience | Bachelor’s degree with six months of experience in a related field. An equivalent combination of relevant education and/or experience may be considered.

Remote Work OISDS staff have the option to work remotely two days per week. As such, this role is eligible for a hybrid work schedule, subject to manager approval. Individuals may be required to use personal computers and other standard office equipment in order to work remotely. The Research Data Specialist I must be located within the DFW Area and have the ability to be on campus within 24 hours of notice. |
