Job Summary | The Departments of Neuroscience and Bioengineering at UT Dallas have an opening for a Laboratory Technician to join the Labs of Drs. Tavares-Ferreira and Meyers. This specific position will work on collaborative projects that are aimed at understanding the mechanisms underlying neurological injuries (stroke, spinal cord injury, nerve injury) and potential treatments in preclinical models. The applicant should have experience running independent experiments. Prior experience in molecular biology, rodent behavior and survival surgery are preferred. The position requires providing technical support for the laboratories and being responsible for documenting and maintaining lab equipment procedures. |
Minimum Education and Experience | Associate degree with a minimum of two years hands on experience. An equivalent combination of education and experience is acceptable. |
