Job Summary
Minimum Education and Experience

Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of collegiate debate coaching experience.

Experience working with competitively successful college or high school debate programs and demonstrate effective research and coaching skills.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Research and production of arguments for use in competitions
  • Organize student research projects and provide guidance on argument development, strategy, and execution.
  • Facilitating and participating in weekly practice sessions, including those outside of typical business hours.
  • Travel with the team to 5+ in-person/virtual competitions per semester.
  • Maintaining a good driving record and hold a valid driver’s license.
  • Accurately manage and reconcile individual financial reporting and follow university travel and financial procedures.
  • Attend weekly organizational meetings.
  • Work closely with the director and associate director to meet the team’s competitive and recruiting goals.
  • Maintaining accurate and timely financial records.
