Position Summary
The Scrum Master / Technical Delivery Leader will lead Agile delivery across Port.io and Kubernetes platform initiatives, driving execution, alignment, and predictable delivery across platform engineering, cloud, DevOps, security, architecture, and application teams.
The role combines Scrum Master leadership with technical delivery management, ensuring teams have clear priorities, manageable dependencies, transparent capacity, and strong execution against the platform roadmap.
Key Responsibilities
Agile & Delivery Leadership
· Lead Agile delivery for Port.io and Kubernetes initiatives.
- Facilitate sprint planning, backlog refinement, stand-ups, reviews, retrospectives, and PI/quarterly planning.
- Partner with Product Owners and engineering leaders to establish priorities, roadmaps, and delivery milestones.
- Manage cross-team dependencies, risks, impediments, and capacity constraints.
- Maintain delivery visibility through Jira, including roadmap progress, milestones, risks, dependencies, and capacity.
- Drive accountability and predictable execution across multiple technical teams.
Port.io Delivery
· Coordinate implementation, enhancement, and adoption of Port.io across engineering teams.
- Drive delivery of developer portal capabilities, service/catalog onboarding, automation, self-service experiences, integrations, and platform adoption.
- Coordinate dependencies between Port.io and engineering platforms, CI/CD pipelines, cloud services, security, and application teams.
- Track adoption, delivery milestones, platform enhancements, and outstanding technical dependencies.
Kubernetes Delivery
· Lead delivery coordination for enterprise Kubernetes platform capabilities.
- Manage work across cluster/platform engineering, automation, observability, security, networking, reliability, and lifecycle activities.
- Coordinate Kubernetes dependencies across cloud, infrastructure, DevOps, security, and application teams.
- Support onboarding and migration of applications/workloads onto Kubernetes environments.
Leadership & Governance
· Own integrated delivery plans, milestones, RAID items, and cross-team dependencies.
- Provide leadership with clear reporting on progress, capacity, risks, dependencies, decisions, and outcomes.
- Facilitate technical decision-making and ensure issues have clear owners and resolution paths.
- Drive alignment between platform engineering priorities and broader technology/business objectives.
Required Experience
· 7+ years in Scrum Master, Agile Delivery, Technical Program Management, or technology delivery leadership roles.
- Experience delivering Kubernetes, cloud, DevOps, platform engineering, or developer-platform initiatives.
- Experience working with or delivering Port.io or comparable developer portal/platform capabilities preferred.
- Working knowledge of Kubernetes, containers, CI/CD, cloud infrastructure, DevSecOps, observability, and automation.
- Strong Jira experience with roadmap, backlog, dependency, capacity, and delivery reporting.
- Strong cross-functional leadership and executive communication skills.
- CSM, PSM, SAFe, PMP, or similar certification preferred.
