One of my clients is searching for a Production Manager for their facility located in Dallas. Are you a hands-on leader with experience in food manufacturing and a passion for driving production excellence? We are seeking a Production Supervisor to lead our 1st Shift Operations in a fast-paced protein processing environment. This role is responsible for supervising production employees, ensuring product quality, maintaining food safety standards, and achieving daily production goals.

Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and lead production team members to ensure safe, efficient, and productive operations.
- Monitor daily production schedules and adjust staffing and resources to meet customer demands.
- Ensure compliance with USDA, FDA, HACCP, GMP, and company food safety requirements.
- Train, coach, and develop employees while promoting accountability and teamwork.
- Conduct daily shift meetings and communicate production expectations clearly.
- Monitor product quality, yields, and operational efficiencies.
- Partner with Maintenance, Quality Assurance, and Warehouse teams to support production goals.
- Investigate and resolve production issues, employee concerns, and process improvements.
- Maintain accurate production records and reports.
- Foster a culture of safety, respect, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of supervisory experience in food manufacturing, protein processing, meat processing, poultry, seafood, or related manufacturing environments.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Working knowledge of food safety and quality systems.
- Experience managing production metrics, labor, and productivity.
- Ability to work in refrigerated environments and stand for extended periods.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred.
- Experience with lean manufacturing or continuous improvement initiatives.
- Knowledge of ERP or production management systems.
