Position Overview

The company is seeking an Epic Security Analyst to support ongoing Epic user lifecycle management across its West and Sparrow organizations. This contractor will be responsible for manually creating and maintaining EMP and SER records to ensure clinicians and other authorized users have the appropriate Epic access to perform their responsibilities. The role will help maintain operational continuity while a regional team member is allocated to the One Epic project.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and maintain Epic EMP and SER records to support user provisioning and access management.
• Process Epic user lifecycle requests, including new hires, employee transfers, and terminations.
• Support Epic user security and access provisioning across the West and Sparrow environments.
• Troubleshoot user account and access issues to minimize operational delays.
• Ensure timely completion of access requests to support clinical operations and prevent disruptions to clinician workflows.
• Provide regional knowledge of existing user access requirements to support the One Epic initiative.
• Participate in the anticipated monthly on-call rotation.

Required Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Epic user security and administration.
• Experience managing Epic user provisioning and access requests.
• Direct experience creating and maintaining EMP and SER records is strongly preferred and should be verified during screening.
• Experience managing user lifecycle activities, including onboarding, transfers, and terminations.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage operational requests in a healthcare environment where timely system access is critical.
• Availability to start ASAP and willingness to participate in monthly on-call coverage.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting Epic across multiple hospitals, facilities, or healthcare organizations.
• Experience with Epic implementation, migration, consolidation, or standardization initiatives.
• Familiarity with clinical workflows and the impact of user access issues on patient care.
• Experience supporting large-scale healthcare IT operations.
