• Job Title: IT Senior Automation Engineer

Our client is seeking a highly skilled Senior Automation Engineer to join Automation & Productivity team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of Robotic Process Automation (RPA), Artificial Intelligence, and modern software engineering.

You will lead the design, development, and delivery of intelligent automation solutions that drive operational efficiency, reduce manual effort, and enhance business productivity. Beyond building automation, you'll play a critical role in evaluating where AI, RPA, or a hybrid approach can deliver the greatest business value.

This is a hands-on technical leadership role requiring expertise in UiPath, React, API integrations, AI/LLM technologies, and production automation support.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy enterprise-grade automation solutions using UiPath and related technologies.
• Lead automation initiatives from requirements gathering through implementation and production support.
• Evaluate automation opportunities and determine the best solution approach utilizing RPA, AI, or hybrid architectures.
• Develop and maintain React-based applications, dashboards, and user interfaces supporting automation workflows.
• Integrate AI and Large Language Model (LLM) capabilities using platforms such as OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, and Anthropic.
• Build and support AI-enabled solutions leveraging RAG pipelines, function calling, and workflow automation patterns.
• Monitor production automation environments, troubleshoot issues, perform root-cause analysis, and ensure operational stability.
• Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, product owners, and technology teams to identify automation opportunities and define solutions.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, backlog refinement, sprint planning, and release activities.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, architecture diagrams, process flows, and operational runbooks.
• Mentor junior team members and promote automation best practices, coding standards, and solution quality.

Required Qualifications

• Strong experience designing and delivering enterprise UiPath automation solutions.
• Hands-on experience with React and TypeScript development.
• Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Proven background integrating AI/LLM platforms such as OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, or Anthropic.
• Experience with RAG architectures, AI-powered workflows, or intelligent automation solutions.
• Knowledge of CI/CD practices, including GitHub Actions or similar tools.
• Experience supporting production environments, incident management, and operational monitoring.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working within Agile or SAFe delivery frameworks.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work during EST business hours.

Preferred Qualifications

• Financial Services, Investment Management, Banking, Healthcare, or other regulated-industry experience.
• Experience with Snowflake data platforms and analytics workflows.
• Python and/or C# development experience.
• Power BI reporting and dashboard development.
• SharePoint integration and workflow automation.
• Experience with ServiceNow or Salesforce integrations.
• Familiarity with agentic AI frameworks and next-generation intelligent automation platforms.
• UiPath certifications (UiARD, Advanced Developer, or equivalent).
