Our client is currently seeking a Remote Medical Assistant - Quality Outreach-


This job will have the following responsibilities:

• Make approximately 100 outbound patient calls daily from assigned outreach lists.
• Contact patients regarding quality and preventive care measures, including Annual Wellness Visits (AWV), Blood Pressure Management (CBP), Kidney Health Evaluations (KED), Diabetic Eye Exams (EED), and other quality initiatives.
• Follow approved call scripts to educate patients, gather healthcare information, and explain next steps.
• Document outreach attempts, patient responses, outcomes, and follow-up activities accurately in Epic or a similar EHR system.
• Schedule appointments and services when appropriate and available.
• Escalate clinical questions, symptoms, or patient concerns to the appropriate healthcare team members.
• Maintain outreach trackers, pursuit lists, and follow-up documentation.
• Utilize soft-phone/IVR systems to manage outbound calling activities.
• Meet productivity, quality, documentation, compliance, and attendance expectations while working remotely.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Current and active Medical Assistant certification.
• Minimum 1 year of Medical Assistant experience.
• Experience communicating with patients by phone in a professional and empathetic manner.
• Experience using Epic or another Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.
