Our client is currently seeking a Jr. Dev Ops Developer

Rate is $38-40/hr
Must work EST and prefer candidates in EST or CST timezone
What You'll Do
As a Software Developer, you will design, build, test, and support software solutions that improve business operations, automation, analytics, and customer experiences.
Responsibilities
- Develop and test software modules customized to support Tillman Fiber operations, automation, analytics, and operational initiatives.
- Analyze business requirements and translate functional specifications into technical solutions.
- Design, code, test, debug, and enhance software applications.
- Maintain existing software systems and contribute expertise toward business application improvements.
- Collaborate with technical teams to troubleshoot software issues and implement resolutions.
- Support production applications and resolve incidents in accordance with established SLAs.
- Deliver solutions that simplify and enhance the customer experience.
- Partner with Information Technology leadership to define strategies, implementation procedures, and project goals.
- Analyze defects, system issues, and project deliverables to identify root causes and corrective actions.
- Collaborate with software vendors and internal engineering teams to develop effective software solutions.
- Evaluate and recommend open-source tools and technologies to meet business requirements.
- Participate in project leadership, architecture discussions, and brainstorming sessions to solve complex infrastructure, security, and development challenges.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems (MIS), or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- 2-3 years of software development experience.
- Hands-on experience with AWS (Amazon Web Services).
- Working knowledge of:
- Java
- Python
- C / C++
- XML/XSL
- JSON
- SQL
- HTTP/REST APIs
- React
- WCF
- Git
- AWS DevOps
- Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent critical thinking and troubleshooting abilities.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with OSS/BSS platforms and telecommunications systems.
- Knowledge of fiber, broadband, telecommunications, or network infrastructure environments.
- Experience working in Agile software development environments.
