Title: Crowdstrike Consultant
Type: Remote - 8-10 weeks

Our client is developing a Rapid AI Detection and Response (RAiDAR) operating model and has made a significant investment in CrowdStrike. With an established internal engineering organization and in-house CrowdStrike expertise, this engagement focuses on strategy, architecture, operating model design, and use case development rather than hands-on implementation or platform engineering.
The client is seeking a senior AI Security Architect or Security Automation Strategist to define and shape the strategy, roadmap, processes, and business outcomes for an initial RAiDAR MVP and long-term operating model.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and prioritize high-value AI-driven security use cases for the RAiDAR MVP.
- Develop the strategic vision, target architecture, operating model, and roadmap for AI-enabled security operations.
- Assess CrowdStrike's role as the central orchestration platform across endpoint, identity, cloud, network, and AI agent telemetry.
- Define architectural requirements for integrating telemetry sources, security controls, and response workflows.
- Identify opportunities for custom monitoring, behavioral analytics, anomaly detection, and proactive security actions.
- Establish governance frameworks and guardrails for automated response, including defining actions appropriate for automation versus human review.
- Evaluate existing orchestration capabilities and identify integration, process, or technology gaps.
- Define measurable success metrics, including improvements in Mean Time to Detect (MTTD), Mean Time to Respond (MTTR), threat containment, operational adoption, and overall security effectiveness.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate emerging AI technologies into practical and scalable security capabilities.
- Provide strategic guidance on security automation, AI governance, and enterprise-wide security operations transformation.
Current MVP Workstreams
- Program scope and operating model design
- Asset inventory and identity management
- Telemetry integration and visibility
- Detection engineering strategy
- Automated and guardrailed response capabilities
- Validation, metrics, reporting, and measurable outcomes
Required Qualifications
- Extensive experience in AI security architecture, cybersecurity strategy, and security automation.
- Strong background in detection and response programs, security operations, and threat management.
- Experience designing security orchestration and automated response frameworks within large enterprise environments.
- Knowledge of integrating security telemetry across endpoint, identity, cloud, network, and application environments.
- Experience establishing governance models, risk controls, and decision frameworks for automated security actions.
- Demonstrated ability to define roadmaps, operating models, and strategic initiatives for cybersecurity transformation programs.
- Strong executive communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to assess emerging AI capabilities and translate them into measurable security outcomes.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with CrowdStrike and its role within enterprise security architectures.
- Experience with security orchestration, automation, and response (SOAR) platforms.
- Familiarity with AI-driven detection, behavioral analytics, anomaly detection, and autonomous security operations.
- Background in enterprise cybersecurity architecture, cloud security, identity security, and security operations center (SOC) transformation programs.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a senior-level security practitioner with deep expertise in AI security architecture, security automation, detection and response strategy, enterprise integrations, and security orchestration. This individual will operate primarily at the strategy and architecture level, helping the organization determine which security processes should be automated, how those automations should be governed, and how business value and security outcomes should be measured.
Engagement Focus
This engagement is centered on strategy development, architecture design, use case prioritization, process design, governance, and roadmap creation. The selected consultant will provide leadership and direction while partnering with an established internal engineering team responsible for technical implementation and execution.
Medical, dental, and vision insurance are available to qualified candidates who meet eligibility requirements.
