About the Role
Our client is seeking a Quality Engineer to support post-launch quality and sustaining engineering activities for wireless telecommunications products. This role will be responsible for driving issue resolution, improving quality processes, managing customer-reported concerns, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure product performance and customer satisfaction.
The ideal candidate will have experience in quality engineering, wireless telecommunications, product lifecycle support, and customer-facing issue resolution.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage quality and sustaining activities for commercialized products.
- Serve as a liaison between customers and internal teams to track, prioritize, and resolve product issues.
- Investigate product failures, software defects, design concerns, and accessory-related issues.
- Coordinate cross-functional resources to ensure timely issue resolution.
- Develop and implement sustaining engineering processes and quality procedures.
- Monitor product performance using project management tools and reporting methods.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product reliability and customer satisfaction.
- Maintain effective communication with internal stakeholders and customer organizations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field; equivalent industry experience will also be considered.
- 3+ years of experience in Quality Engineering, Sustaining Engineering, or Wireless Telecommunications.
- Experience establishing and improving quality or sustaining engineering processes.
- Background supporting OEM handset/mobile device products.
- Knowledge of wireless technologies, including GSM and/or CDMA.
- Experience investigating and resolving customer-reported technical issues.
- Strong project coordination and product management skills.

Additional Information
- Up to 30% travel may be required.
- Occasional work outside standard business hours may be necessary based on project demands.
