About the Role
This role provides execution and coordination support for an identity-focused program through year-end. The position is responsible for identifying accountable owners, tracking outstanding actions, coordinating across teams, maintaining escalation processes, monitoring aging items, and driving actions to closure.
The role manages the full project lifecycle from project definition through implementation and is accountable for delivering agreed-upon scope, schedule, cost, and quality objectives. It requires strong project management, communication, leadership, and stakeholder coordination skills.
Responsibilities
- Manage projects from initiation through implementation.
- Develop project plans and drive project milestones.
- Ensure projects meet agreed-upon scope, cost, schedule, and quality measures.
- Establish and maintain effective communication with project teams and key stakeholders.
- Provide day-to-day direction to project resources.
- Support change management activities throughout the project lifecycle.
- Prepare project documentation, status reports, and budgets.
- Track outstanding actions and remediation items.
- Follow up with application owners and control owners on open items.
- Maintain action item logs and escalation lists.
- Coordinate responses across multiple stakeholders and teams.
- Monitor aging items, deadlines, and dependencies.
- Escalate stalled, overdue, or non-responsive items as needed.
- Maintain status reporting and evidence of follow-up activities.
- Drive assigned actions through completion and closure.
Qualifications
- Proven ability to manage large projects while reducing risk, ensuring predictable outcomes, and meeting or exceeding timelines.
- Experience leading multiple complex system projects.
- Expertise in project management methodologies, disciplines, and techniques.
- Ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams and work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal, negotiation, leadership, decision-making, analytical, judgment, and problem-solving skills.
- Specialized knowledge of Microsoft Project, Visio, Excel, and Word.
- High degree of creativity, self-motivation, and commitment to task execution.
Preferred Skills
- Understanding of systems development methodologies.
- Ability to direct and manage business partners, technology resources, subject matter experts, user interface design teams, quality assurance teams, user acceptance testing teams, and other groups involved in defining, designing, and deploying product capabilities.
- Strong relationship management skills with the ability to build trust, structure problems, build consensus, and negotiate agreements effectively.
