About the Role
Seeking an experienced Business Systems Analyst (BSA) to support a large-scale banking data integration and migration initiative. The role requires strong retail banking domain expertise, hands-on SQL and data analysis skills, and experience with data warehousing and Source-to-Target Mapping (STTM).

Responsibilities

• Gather and document business, functional, system, and data requirements.
• Analyze source and target systems, data models, interfaces, and business processes.
• Create and maintain detailed Source-to-Target Mapping (STTM) documents, including transformation and validation rules.
• Perform data profiling, analysis, validation, and reconciliation using SQL.
• Identify data gaps, data quality issues, mapping discrepancies, and transformation requirements.
• Collaborate with business SMEs, architects, developers, data engineers, and QA teams.
• Support data migration activities, system integration testing (SIT), user acceptance testing (UAT), conversion rehearsals, cutover activities, and post-production validation.
• Ensure requirements and data mappings are traceable through implementation and testing.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on SQL skills, including complex joins, Common Table Expressions (CTEs), aggregations, and analytical queries.
• Strong experience in data analysis and data profiling.
• Strong knowledge of data warehousing concepts, including ETL/ELT, dimensional modeling, facts and dimensions, staging, and data marts.
• Extensive experience preparing Source-to-Target Mapping (STTM) documentation.
• Experience with data integration, data migration, reconciliation, and data quality initiatives.
• Strong retail banking functional knowledge, including:
• Customer and Account Management
• Checking, Savings, CDs, and Deposits
• Customer Onboarding and KYC
• ACH, Wires, Checks, and Payments
• Debit Cards, ATM, Branch, and Digital Banking
• Transactions, Balances, Fees, and Interest
• Product and Reference Data
• Statements, Account Servicing, and General Ledger interfaces
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Prior experience supporting bank mergers, conversions, or large-scale banking data migration programs.
