About the Role
We are seeking a highly experienced Finance Transformation SME to support a global SAP S/4HANA transformation program. This individual will serve as the primary Finance representative for the design, testing, deployment, and optimization of future-state Record-to-Report (RTR) processes across a complex multinational manufacturing organization.
The ideal candidate combines deep expertise in manufacturing finance, cost accounting, product costing, inventory valuation, profitability analysis, and financial reporting with hands-on experience leading or supporting SAP ERP transformation initiatives. This role will partner closely with Finance, Operations, Supply Chain, IT, SAP COE teams, implementation partners, and project leadership to ensure SAP solutions align with business and financial objectives.
Responsibilities
Finance Process Leadership
- Represent the Finance organization in global design workshops, process reviews, and solution architecture discussions.
- Lead the design and validation of future-state RTR processes aligned with SAP best practices.
- Provide expertise across:
- General Ledger (GL)
- Cost Center Accounting
- Profit Center Accounting
- Fixed Assets
- Treasury
- Intercompany Accounting
- Financial Close
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, SOX requirements, audit standards, and external reporting requirements.
Manufacturing Finance & Product Costing
- Drive design decisions related to:
- Product Costing
- Standard Costing
- Cost Rollups
- Manufacturing Variances
- Inventory Valuation
- Work-in-Process (WIP)
- Profitability Analysis (COPA)
- Transfer Pricing
- Cost and Profit Center Structures
- Partner with Operations, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and FP&A teams to support end-to-end financial integration.
- Develop financial reporting frameworks and KPIs for manufacturing performance, margins, inventory, and profitability.
- Validate costing and manufacturing reporting outputs during testing and deployment activities.
SAP S/4HANA Transformation
- Support solution design, fit-gap analysis, configuration reviews, testing, and deployment activities.
- Participate in:
- User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
- Integration Testing
- Data Validation
- Cutover Planning
- Go-Live Readiness Activities
- Evaluate integration points between Finance and Supply Chain, Procurement, Manufacturing, Sales, and Logistics functions.
- Support issue resolution, risk mitigation, and change management efforts.
Change Management & Adoption
- Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and project teams.
- Support training development and user readiness initiatives.
- Drive post-go-live adoption and continuous process improvement.
- Assist with process documentation, governance standards, and operating procedures.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
- 15+ years of progressive Finance experience within manufacturing environments.

Preferred Qualifications
- SAP S/4HANA implementation experience within medical device, life sciences, healthcare, or other regulated manufacturing environments.
- SAP FICO certification or related ERP certifications.
