Position: Risk & Opportunity Manager

Location: Grand Prairie, TX (Hybrid)

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Risk & Opportunity Manager with a strong background in Systems Requirements and Architecture. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and managing the program risk and opportunity database while partnering with program leadership, systems engineering teams, and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure risks, opportunities, and mitigation plans remain current and actionable.

This position requires regular onsite collaboration in a technical engineering environment, with limited remote work flexibility based on business needs.

Key Responsibilities

· Own and maintain the program Risk & Opportunity management database.

· Collaborate with Program Managers, Chief Engineers, and functional leads to identify, assess, and track risks and opportunities.

· Facilitate risk reviews and support mitigation planning activities.

· Monitor risk metrics and provide status updates to program leadership.

· Support systems engineering activities related to requirements management and architecture.

· Ensure effective communication and coordination across technical and program teams.

· Contribute to decision-making through risk assessments, trade studies, and analysis.

Minimum Qualifications

· Bachelor's degree in one of the following disciplines: Aerospace Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Engineering or Other STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) related disciplines

· Experience managing and tracking Risks and Opportunities in a program environment.

· 3+ years of experience using IBM DOORS for requirements management.

· 3+ years of hands-on experience with Cameo Systems Modeler (or equivalent MBSE tools).

· Familiarity with systems engineering principles, system design concepts, and tradeoff analyses.

· Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.

· Ability to work effectively in a technical laboratory and engineering environment.

Preferred Qualifications

· Experience supporting complex aerospace, defense, or engineering development programs.

· Knowledge of Systems Engineering and Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) methodologies.

· Experience facilitating cross-functional technical reviews and risk boards.
