About the Role
The Judge Group is expanding its nationwide behavioral health provider network and is seeking licensed behavioral health professionals to provide confidential, short-term, solution-focused counseling services to active-duty service members, National Guard and Reserve members, and eligible military family members.
This is a remote opportunity that allows providers to deliver virtual counseling services from a secure and private location while supporting military-connected individuals and families. Providers who also offer in-person services may have additional opportunities based on participant needs and availability.
The counseling model focuses on helping individuals and families address everyday life challenges, transitions, stressors, and relationship concerns through brief, solution-focused support.
Responsibilities
- Provide short-term counseling services through secure virtual sessions.
- Deliver solution-focused support to military members and their families.
- Assess participant needs and establish counseling goals.
- Support participants experiencing challenges related to:
- Relationship and communication concerns
- Deployment and reintegration
- Relocation and life transitions
- Stress management and adjustment issues
- Grief and loss
- Career and workplace concerns
- Academic challenges
- Anger management
- Interpersonal skills and resilience development
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation following counseling sessions.
- Complete required Case Activity Reports (CARs) and other program documentation.
- Adhere to all applicable federal, state, and professional practice requirements.
- Participate in required onboarding, training, and compliance activities.
Minimum Qualifications
- Active, unrestricted professional license in the state where services are provided.
- One of the following credentials:
- Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
- Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC, LPCC, or LCPC)
- Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
- Licensed Psychologist (PhD or PsyD)
- U.S. Citizen.
- Fluent in English.
- Ability to maintain a secure and confidential telehealth workspace.
- Professional liability insurance meeting program requirements.
- Successful completion of credentialing, background screening, and fingerprinting requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting military populations, veterans, or military families.
- Experience providing telehealth or virtual counseling services.
- Strong clinical documentation skills.
- Familiarity with short-term, solution-focused counseling approaches.
- Ability to independently manage scheduling and caseload responsibilities.
Program Information
- Participants may be authorized for up to 12 counseling sessions.
- Referrals are provided through an established nationwide support program.
- Providers should be able to offer appointments within three business days of receiving a referral whenever possible.
- Services are intended to address common life challenges and are not designed for long-term behavioral health treatment or psychiatric care.
- Flexible scheduling allows providers to manage their availability while supporting participant needs.

Once onboarding requirements have been completed, providers become eligible to receive referrals and begin scheduling participants.
