Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Crystal Reports and Tableau Developer for a six-month, fully remote contract.
The contractor will support reporting needs across Facilities & Operations, including architecture, engineering, construction, project, financial, and operational data.
The primary responsibility will be modifying and troubleshooting complex existing Crystal Reports, developing and modifying SQL Server queries and stored procedures, and supporting Tableau reporting needs. The ideal candidate must be able to work independently, learn the existing environment quickly, and require minimal technical training.
Key Responsibilities
• Modify, maintain, and troubleshoot complex Crystal Reports 2020.
• Write, modify, and optimize SQL Server queries and T-SQL stored procedures that support reporting.
• Develop and maintain Tableau reports and dashboards.
• Troubleshoot existing reports and investigate data discrepancies.
• Validate report accuracy and ensure deliverables meet business requirements.
• Collaborate directly with FOIS staff and business stakeholders to gather requirements and confirm reporting results.
• Support reporting needs across multiple F&O departments and business functions.
• Work independently in an established reporting environment with minimal supervision.
Required Qualifications
• Strong hands-on experience with Crystal Reports 2020, particularly modifying and troubleshooting complex reports.
• Strong SQL Server and T-SQL development experience.
• Experience modifying existing stored procedures and developing SQL queries to support reporting.
• Hands-on Tableau reporting and dashboard development experience.
• Ability to troubleshoot existing reports and validate data accuracy.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work directly with business users.
• Ability to work independently with minimal technical guidance and ramp up quickly.
Ideal Candidate
We are looking for a hands-on reporting developer who has experience supporting established reporting environments. Candidates should be comfortable taking ownership of existing reports, troubleshooting issues, modifying SQL procedures, and working directly with business stakeholders.
Experience with financial, project, construction, facilities, or operational reporting would be beneficial.
Additional Details
• Fully remote assignment.
• Some flexibility in working hours, but availability during Eastern Time business hours is required.
• 40 hours per week for the duration of the contract.
• Candidates must be able to work independently and become productive quickly.
• The anticipated start date is October 26, 2026.
