About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Program Manager, AI Adoption & Transformation, to lead enterprise-wide AI initiatives within a healthcare environment. In this role, you will partner with executive leaders, business stakeholders, and technology teams to accelerate AI adoption, drive operational efficiencies, and deliver measurable business outcomes.

You will be responsible for translating AI strategy into actionable programs, establishing governance frameworks, managing cross-functional initiatives, and ensuring successful implementation of AI-enabled capabilities. The ideal candidate combines strong program management expertise, healthcare domain knowledge, AI transformation experience, and advanced Microsoft Copilot proficiency.

What You'll Do

Lead enterprise-wide AI adoption and transformation programs from strategy through execution and value realization.

Develop and manage AI program roadmaps, milestones, budgets, resources, risks, and dependencies.

Drive organizational adoption of AI tools and solutions, including Microsoft Copilot.

Establish program governance, operating models, success metrics, and executive reporting structures.

Partner with business and technology leaders to align AI initiatives with organizational objectives.

Manage Agile and Waterfall delivery teams across multiple workstreams.

Identify, mitigate, and escalate program risks, issues, and dependencies.

Lead change management efforts to ensure successful AI adoption and user engagement.

Prepare executive-level presentations, steering committee updates, and stakeholder communications.

Mentor project managers and coordinators while providing leadership in a matrixed environment.

Collaborate with vendors and external partners to support program delivery.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field.

10+ years of Program or Project Management experience.

Experience leading enterprise AI adoption, AI transformation, or digital transformation programs.

Advanced expertise with Microsoft Copilot and AI productivity solutions.

3+ years of process improvement or process management experience.

3+ years of healthcare insurance operations experience (5+ years preferred if not PMP certified).

Experience managing large-scale, cross-functional initiatives from conception to completion.

Strong stakeholder management, communication, influencing, and leadership skills.

Ability to thrive in fast-paced, matrixed organizations.

Preferred Qualifications

Master's degree in related discipline.

PMP, Agile, Scrum, or SAFe certifications.

Experience with PMBOK, CQI, TQM, PDCA, Lean, or similar improvement methodologies.

Proven success driving AI governance, responsible AI practices, and organizational adoption frameworks.

Product management mindset with experience measuring AI utilization and business impact.

Healthcare Payer or health insurance industry experience.
