Position Overview
The company is seeking two Microsoft Intune Engineers to support a large-scale endpoint integration project. The project involves integrating approximately 12,000 endpoints from Sparrow and West into the company environment.
The engineers will be responsible for designing, configuring, testing, deploying, and troubleshooting Microsoft Intune policies and Windows device configurations. Working alongside senior engineers, business analysts, and regional subject matter experts, they will translate technical requirements into functional configurations and support deployments from pre-production through production.
This is a hands-on engineering role suited for candidates with experience managing Windows endpoints in an enterprise environment who can work independently with limited training.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, configure, test, and implement Microsoft Intune policies and Windows device configurations based on defined technical requirements.
- Configure and manage Windows Autopilot profiles, Group Tags, device policies, and related endpoint settings.
- Work with senior engineers, business analysts, and business stakeholders to translate project requirements into technical solutions.
- Support the full lifecycle of endpoint configurations, from initial development and pre-production testing through production deployment.
- Perform testing and validation of new configurations, identify issues, and implement necessary remediation.
- Troubleshoot Intune configuration and deployment issues, including advanced technical problems.
- Collaborate with regional subject matter experts and other technical teams to support successful endpoint integration.
- Follow established change management processes and deployment standards.
- Support production rollouts, post-deployment troubleshooting, and hypercare activities.
Required Qualifications
- Approximately 3–5 years of relevant experience managing Windows endpoints in an enterprise environment.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune, including configuring and managing endpoint policies.
- Experience with Windows Autopilot configuration profiles and Group Tags.
- Understanding of the Intune policy and device configuration lifecycle.
- Experience testing, troubleshooting, and implementing Windows endpoint configurations.
- Ability to interpret technical requirements and independently implement configurations with limited supervision.
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience managing Windows endpoints using SCCM/MECM and Active Directory.
- Experience supporting enterprise environments with 5,000 or more endpoints.
- Healthcare IT experience or experience supporting large-scale endpoint integration projects.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Entra ID.
- PowerShell scripting experience.
Project Details
The project will begin with pre-production configuration and testing, followed by production deployment. Engineers will help establish and validate device configurations across three device modes, each with its own policy and software requirements. The project is targeting deployment completion by March 2027, followed by hypercare and potential operational support.
