About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Commercial Operations Analyst to support commercial lending and loan operations activities. This role will be responsible for loan documentation, data management, loan boarding, funding coordination, and operational support for commercial real estate and construction lending portfolios.
The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced financial services environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate the preparation, review, and processing of commercial loan documentation.
- Perform loan boarding activities and maintain accurate records within loan servicing systems.
- Enter, validate, and update loan data while ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Verify insurance requirements and support loan closing and funding activities.
- Partner with borrowers, legal counsel, loan officers, and operations teams to facilitate seamless loan transactions.
- Maintain and update risk ratings, regulatory indicators, and loan-related information.
- Support construction lending operations by reviewing reports from third-party inspectors, contractors, and title companies.
- Process construction loan draws, disbursements, and revolving line-of-credit transactions.
- Monitor service levels and ensure timely resolution of operational issues.
- Maintain a high level of accuracy, quality, and attention to detail across all assigned tasks.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required.
- 1-3+ years of experience in commercial lending, banking operations, loan administration, financial services, or related fields.
- Experience supporting commercial real estate loans, construction loans, or commercial lending operations.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams including Legal, Compliance, Risk, Treasury, Finance, and Operations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Background in Finance, Banking, Business Administration, or Legal Studies.
- Experience with commercial lending, captive finance, dealership finance, or loan servicing platforms.
- Knowledge of loan documentation, closing processes, and funding procedures.
