HEDIS Nurse Auditor | Remote
We are seeking an experienced HEDIS Nurse Auditor (RN or LPN) for a fully remote, seasonal HEDIS project. The ideal candidate will have recent HEDIS experience within a health plan and be comfortable obtaining medical records, reviewing charts, abstracting clinical information, and accurately entering data.
Location
- 100% Remote
- Candidates must reside in New Jersey, Delaware, Pennsylvania, New York, or Connecticut
- Strong preference for candidates located in New Jersey
Schedule & Assignment
- Monday through Friday, business hours (EST)
- Anticipated start: December or early January
- Project expected to continue through April
- Candidates should have strong availability throughout the project and no more than 1 to 2 planned PTO days
- Background checks cannot be initiated until the candidate is within 30 days of the anticipated start date
Responsibilities
- Contact provider offices to request and secure medical records and charts
- Review medical records for required HEDIS measures and documentation
- Abstract clinical data accurately from patient charts
- Enter abstracted information into designated systems and databases
- Track medical record requests and follow up with provider offices as needed
- Maintain accuracy, organization, and productivity while working remotely
- Meet established project deadlines and quality standards
Required Qualifications
- Active RN or LPN license in good standing
- Recent HEDIS experience with a health plan is required, no exceptions
- Previous experience with medical record review and clinical data abstraction
- Strong computer skills and ability to navigate multiple systems
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, remote environment
Pay Rate
- RN: $39/hr - $40/hr
- LPN: $36/hr- $37/hr
Note: This is a seasonal HEDIS assignment with an anticipated duration of December/January through April.
