About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Technology Business Systems Consultant with deep expertise in Loan IQ and a strong background in business analysis within Agile technology environments.
In this role, you will partner with business, technology, product, and senior leadership teams to solve complex business and technical challenges. You will help define requirements, influence product and technology strategy, and develop scalable solutions that support long-term business objectives.
The ideal candidate combines strong Loan IQ product knowledge, business systems analysis experience, and techno-functional expertise with the ability to work effectively across business and technology teams.
Minimum Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in Business Systems Analysis, Business Systems Design, Data Analysis, or a related field.
- Experience may be demonstrated through a combination of professional work, consulting, training, military experience, or education.
- Hands-on Loan IQ product experience and subject matter expertise.
- Experience working as a Business Analyst within Agile technology or IT product teams.
- Experience gathering, analyzing, documenting, and translating business requirements into functional and technical requirements.
- Experience partnering with business stakeholders, product teams, developers, and other technology partners.
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong techno-functional skills, with the ability to bridge business requirements and technical solutions.
- Experience supporting complex, enterprise-scale technology initiatives.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including experience evaluating complex business processes and identifying scalable solutions.
- Experience working across multiple business and technology functions.
- Ability to communicate complex concepts clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience engaging with senior leaders and influencing stakeholders across an organization.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, product delivery processes, and the software development lifecycle.
- Financial services, commercial lending, or loan servicing experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a Loan IQ subject matter expert and provide functional guidance to business and technology teams.
- Partner with product owners, business stakeholders, developers, and technology teams to define business and system requirements.
- Analyze complex business and technical challenges and recommend scalable, long-term solutions.
- Translate business needs into clear functional requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and other supporting documentation.
- Support Agile product development activities, including backlog refinement, sprint planning, requirements clarification, testing, and implementation.
- Evaluate existing processes and systems to identify opportunities for improvements, automation, and greater operational efficiency.
- Collaborate across multiple teams to identify dependencies, risks, and impacts associated with proposed solutions.
- Provide strategic recommendations and subject matter expertise to senior stakeholders.
- Influence technology and business systems initiatives through research, analysis, and solution design.
- Support the successful delivery of complex, large-scale technology initiatives from requirements through implementation.
