Data Architect w/ Snowflake experience

Key responsibilities
• Own the target state data architecture: source ingestion, layering, data modeling standards, and consumption patterns for analytics, reporting, and product.
• Design and govern data models that support clinical, operational, and client reporting use cases without duplicating logic across teams.
• Set standards for data quality, lineage, documentation, and metadata, and put controls in place to enforce them.
• Define security and access architecture for PHI, including role design, masking, and least privilege access.
• Guide platform performance and cost management, including warehouse sizing, clustering, and query optimization.
• Partner with data engineering, data science, and product to review designs and keep implementation aligned to the architecture.
Required qualifications
• 7 or more years in data engineering or data architecture, including 3 or more years in an architect or lead design role.
• Deep hands on experience with Snowflake, including modeling, performance tuning, security model, and cost control.
• Strong dimensional and analytic data modeling skills, with advanced SQL.
• Experience with modern data pipeline and transformation tooling such as dbt, Airflow, or equivalent, and with cloud infrastructure.
• Experience designing for regulated data environments, including PHI or PII handling.
