About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Data Quality & Snowflake Migration Engineer to lead enterprise-scale data migration and data quality initiatives. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that business-critical data is accurately profiled, transformed, validated, reconciled, and migrated from legacy systems into modern Snowflake-based data platforms.

You will partner with Data Engineers, Architects, Analysts, Product Owners, and Business Stakeholders to establish robust data quality frameworks, automate validation processes, and deliver trusted datasets that drive business decisions.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives on solving complex data challenges, building scalable validation frameworks, and ensuring data integrity throughout the migration lifecycle.

What You'll Do

• Lead large-scale enterprise data migration initiatives into Snowflake.
• Design and implement comprehensive data quality controls across ingestion, transformation, migration, and reporting layers.
• Perform deep data profiling and analysis to identify completeness, consistency, accuracy, duplication, and integrity issues.
• Develop automated reconciliation frameworks to validate source-to-target data movement.
• Create and optimize advanced SQL queries, validation rules, exception reports, and quality dashboards.
• Design and maintain source-to-target mapping documents and transformation specifications.
• Build ETL/ELT processes for data migration, cleansing, enrichment, and integration.
• Investigate migration anomalies, perform root-cause analysis, and drive issue resolution with engineering teams.
• Develop Python-based automation solutions for data validation, reconciliation, exception reporting, and monitoring.
• Establish pre-migration and post-migration controls to ensure production readiness.
• Support UAT testing, production cutovers, go-live activities, and post-deployment validation.
• Analyze data lineage, dependencies, and downstream impacts of migration activities.
• Partner with business stakeholders to define data quality standards, acceptance criteria, and governance controls.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on automation, scalability, reliability, and operational excellence.

Minimum Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Data Migration, Data Quality, or Data Integration.
• 4+ years of hands-on Snowflake development experience.
• Strong expertise in Advanced SQL, query optimization, and data validation techniques.
• Experience building data migration and reconciliation frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with source-to-target mapping and transformation analysis.
• Experience implementing data quality controls and remediation strategies.
• Strong knowledge of ETL/ELT methodologies and enterprise data integration.
• Proficiency in Python for automation, validation, and data analysis.
• Experience supporting migration testing, UAT, deployment, and production validation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on data integrity.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Informatica PowerCenter and Informatica Data Quality (IDQ).
• Experience working with AWS services including S3.
• Knowledge of Oracle, Amazon Redshift, and Salesforce data platforms.
• Experience with JSON, XML, semi-structured data, and API integrations.
• Familiarity with Data Governance, Data Lineage, and Metadata Management.
• Experience building automated monitoring, exception reporting, and audit controls.
• Exposure to Agile delivery methodologies and CI/CD-enabled data pipelines.
• Experience working with large-scale enterprise data warehouses and cloud modernization programs.
