Our client is currently seeking a Technical Business Analyst

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Technical Business Analyst to bridge business requirements and technical solution delivery. This individual will work closely with business stakeholders, data teams, developers, and QA resources to translate business requests into clear functional and technical requirements that enable efficient workflow development and implementation.

The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, experience working with data platforms, and the ability to understand end-to-end data flows and system interactions. This role requires close collaboration with stakeholders to ensure business needs are accurately translated into actionable requirements and successfully validated through testing.

Key Responsibilities:

Requirements Analysis & Documentation

Partner with business stakeholders to understand and document business requests and objectives.

Translate business needs into detailed functional and technical requirements.

Define user stories, business rules, and acceptance criteria for development teams.

Solution Discovery & Triage

Participate in and eventually lead Orchestration Triage sessions to ensure technical feasibility and understanding of incoming requests.

Collaborate with technical teams to clarify requirements, dependencies, and implementation approaches.

Identify gaps, risks, and impacts across upstream and downstream systems.

Data Analysis & Mapping

Perform data mapping and document end-to-end data flows across systems and processes.

Analyze data relationships and dependencies to support solution design and implementation.

Use SQL to query and analyze data in Snowflake and assess existing data availability and structure.

Support data validation efforts and provide recommendations based on findings.

Required skills:

Experience as a Business Analyst, Technical Business Analyst, or similar role in a technology or data-focused environment.

Strong SQL skills and experience querying large datasets.

Experience working with Snowflake or comparable cloud-based data platforms.

Strong understanding of data models, data relationships, and end-to-end data flows.

Experience gathering, analyzing, and documenting business and technical requirements.

Hands on experience with Data Mapping.

Proven ability to define clear and measurable acceptance criteria.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Ability to work independently and drive requirements through the delivery lifecycle.
