Client Advisor

The Client Advisor is responsible for building and strengthening long-term relationships with clients. This role serves as a trusted advisor to an assigned book of business, understands each client’s business and technology priorities, and connects clients with the right resources and solutions to help them grow revenue, reduce costs, and improve efficiency.
The Client Advisor manages day-to-day client relationships, supports renewals and expansion opportunities, and partners with internal teams to deliver a consistent, high-quality client experience. The scope of the role may vary based on the size, complexity, and strategic importance of the assigned accounts.
Core Responsibilities
· Own and develop relationships across an assigned book of business, serving as a reliable point of contact for clients and internal partners.
· Build a deep understanding of client goals, business needs, technology environments, and decision-making processes.
· Lead regular client conversations, business reviews, strategic planning discussions, and account planning activities.
· Identify opportunities to retain, expand, and deepen client relationships through thoughtful, consultative recommendations.
· Support renewals by understanding upcoming needs, coordinating the right internal resources, and maintaining clear follow-through.
· Translate client challenges into actionable solution strategies in partnership with Solution Advisors, Operations, Partners, and other internal teams.
· Coordinate proposals, presentations, account plans, reports, and other client-facing materials.
· Manage client issues and escalations with urgency, sound judgment, and clear communication; involve leadership when appropriate.
· Maintain accurate and timely CRM records, account plans, forecasts, activity tracking, and next steps.
· Collaborate with Sales Leadership and cross-functional partners to advance account strategy and deliver strong client outcomes.
· Share client feedback and practical recommendations that improve offerings, playbooks, and processes.
· Participate in relevant industry events, client meetings, networking opportunities, and other activities that support relationship development.
· Perform other duties as assigned.

Requisite Abilities and Skills
· Experience in client advisory, account management, customer success, consultative sales, technology services, telecommunications, or a related field.
· Experience managing a portfolio, book of business, or set of strategic client relationships.
· Demonstrated ability to retain and grow client relationships through trusted-advisor selling and strong follow-through.
· Experience using CRM tools to manage account activity, opportunities, forecasts, and follow-up.
· Proficiency with Microsoft Office and common business productivity tools.
· Ability to travel periodically for client meetings, team meetings, or industry events, as needed.
