About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Modern Workplace Architect to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of enterprise workplace technologies. In this role, you will drive workplace modernization initiatives by delivering secure, scalable, and high-performing endpoint management, mobility, virtual desktop, and workplace security solutions.
You will collaborate with infrastructure, security, networking, and enterprise architecture teams to build modern end-user computing environments that enhance employee productivity while maintaining operational excellence and security.
What You'll Do
- Design and implement modern workplace architecture solutions that provide secure, scalable, and high-performing user experiences.
- Serve as the technical lead for endpoint management, device lifecycle management, virtualization, mobility, and workplace technologies.
- Partner with cross-functional infrastructure, security, networking, and architecture teams to develop integrated enterprise solutions.
- Engineer and support Windows endpoint architecture, including imaging, provisioning, configuration standards, and lifecycle management.
- Develop and manage Microsoft Intune and Windows Autopilot solutions, including enrollment, compliance, provisioning, and onboarding workflows.
- Design and oversee enterprise application packaging, deployment, and software delivery processes.
- Establish endpoint hardware, operating system, and management standards to ensure security, compliance, and operational consistency.
- Support workplace automation, modernization, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Create technical documentation, standards, and architectural roadmaps for workplace technologies.
Minimum Qualifications

Experience with enterprise endpoint management technologies, including:
- Microsoft Intune
- Microsoft Configuration Manager (MECM/SCCM)
- Co-Management (Intune + SCCM)
- Windows Autopilot
- Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD)
- Group Policy (GPO)

Experience with Windows engineering and endpoint lifecycle management, including:
- Windows 11 deployment and management
- Enterprise image engineering
- Operating system deployment and provisioning
- In-place upgrade strategies
- Driver and BIOS management
- Application compatibility testing
- Endpoint configuration standards
- Device refresh initiatives

Experience designing and supporting Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) environments, including:
- Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD)
- Omnissa Horizon
- Multi-session Windows environments
- Golden image development
- Profile management solutions
- Remote Desktop Services (RDS)
- Capacity planning and performance optimization

Experience implementing endpoint security solutions, including:
- Microsoft Defender for Endpoint
- BitLocker
- Conditional Access
- Device Compliance Policies
- Vulnerability Management
- Secure Configuration Baselines
- Privileged Access Management (PAM)
- Microsoft Entra security controls
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience leading Windows 10 to Windows 11 migrations.
- Experience supporting large-scale endpoint transformation initiatives.
- Experience implementing and modernizing Microsoft Intune environments.
- Experience deploying Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) solutions.
- Experience implementing Omnissa Horizon environments.
- Experience managing enterprise device refresh programs.
- Experience supporting Microsoft 365 workplace modernization initiatives.
- Experience leading endpoint security transformation efforts.
- Knowledge of software packaging and application deployment methodologies.
- Experience with PowerShell scripting and workplace automation.
- Enterprise architecture and solution design experience.
- General networking knowledge and troubleshooting skills.
