Our client is currently seeking a Sr. Software Engineer (Genomics)

Job Summary:

Developer will be working in one of our Genomics Pipeline Agile SCRUM development teams implementing features and functions in new or existing genomics pipelines.

Requirements:

-Understanding of BAM, Fastq, VCF and other genetics files and their contents, skilled in the languages noted above.

-Able to describe genetics testing and analysis workflow from DNA Extraction through Tertiary Analysis and patient results reporting.

-Must be skilled in skilled in BASH, Python, Nextflow, BioInformatics, GATK, Genomics Pipelines, Claude/Codex AI

Preferred:

-Prior Bioinformatics experience or education is a plus .
