About the Role

Key Responsibilities

Project Planning & Execution

• Manage multiple small projects across technical and non-technical workstreams.
• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, forecasts, budgets, and delivery milestones.
• Facilitate requirements gathering activities, including planning sessions, brainstorming workshops, and stakeholder discussions.
• Define project scope, assumptions, constraints, deliverables, and success criteria through project charters and planning documentation.
• Execute project plans and oversee day-to-day project activities to achieve project objectives.

Governance & Control

• Establish clear project governance, team responsibilities, and accountability structures.
• Ensure project plans include:
  • Work breakdown structures (WBS)
  • Project organization charts
  • Communication plans
  • Resource plans
  • Quality plans
  • Risk management plans
  • Cost and budget plans
• Monitor project performance using appropriate tools and reporting techniques.
• Manage project changes through established change control processes.
• Track, analyze, and communicate project status, risks, issues, dependencies, and variances.

Risk & Stakeholder Management

• Develop and maintain project RAID (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies) logs.
• Implement approved mitigation strategies and contingency plans for project risks.
• Communicate project updates and decisions effectively to stakeholders and project teams.
• Build strong partnerships across business and technology teams to ensure alignment and successful delivery.

Team Leadership & Collaboration

• Foster collaboration, accountability, and high team performance.
• Provide guidance, mentoring, and support to project team members.
• Promote an environment that values diversity, inclusion, and teamwork.
• Support larger strategic initiatives under the direction of senior project or program leadership.

Compliance & Risk Management

• Adhere to organizational risk management frameworks, policies, controls, and regulatory requirements.
• Identify and escalate project risks and control concerns to management when appropriate.
• Support audit and regulatory remediation activities, ensuring timely closure of action items.
• Maintain internal control standards and contribute to operational excellence initiatives.

Minimum Qualifications

• Experience managing projects from initiation through closure.
• Knowledge of project management methodologies, governance frameworks, and project lifecycle management.
• Experience creating project plans, schedules, budgets, forecasts, and status reporting.
• Experience facilitating requirements gathering sessions and stakeholder workshops.
• Strong risk, issue, dependency, and change management capabilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to coordinate work across multiple stakeholders and functional teams.
• Demonstrated analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting large-scale programs or strategic initiatives.
• Exposure to technical and business-focused project environments.
• Experience preparing executive-level project reporting and presentations.
• Familiarity with regulatory, risk, audit, or compliance-driven environments.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams in matrixed organizations.
