Job Summary:
Join the IT Clinical Practice Management team in support of a high-priority enterprise initiative focused on Clinical Digital Imaging. This program has been identified as a top organizational priority by executive leadership and is centered on optimizing how clinical images are managed outside of the traditional radiology environment. This role will lead, and coordinate projects focused on improving digital imaging workflows, image storage, retrieval capabilities, data exchange, and supporting technologies across the healthcare enterprise. Partner with clinical, operational, and technical stakeholders to drive project execution, alignment, and successful delivery of strategic objectives. Ideal candidate is a seasoned healthcare IT Project Manager who can effectively bridge clinical and technical teams while leading strategic enterprise imaging initiatives that directly impact patient care and operational excellence.
Requirements:
-Strong knowledge of DICOM standards and digital imaging workflows.
-Experience with HL7 messaging and healthcare data exchange.
-7+ years of IT Project Management experience leading complex enterprise initiatives.
-Healthcare IT experience, preferably within a large healthcare system, academic medical center, or integrated healthcare organization.
-Strong experience partnering with healthcare leaders and clinical stakeholders.
-Demonstrated executive presence with excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
-Experience managing projects involving clinical imaging, healthcare interoperability, or related technologies.
-Familiarity with image retrieval, storage, and interoperability solutions.
-Proven ability to manage project lifecycles while aligning with organizational governance and management frameworks.
-Strong stakeholder management, risk management, and cross-functional leadership skills.
-PMP certification required.
Nice to Haves:
-Experience with Epic, particularly data exchange, interfaces, interoperability, and integration efforts.
-Background in healthcare analytics, reporting, or data-driven decision-making.
-Experience supporting radiology, imaging services, or patient care environments involving image capture and management.
