Scrum Master – AI & Strategic Initiatives
Role Summary
The Scrum Master will lead Agile delivery across multiple concurrent projects within AI area . This individual will facilitate Agile execution, drive cross-team coordination, manage dependencies, remove impediments, and partner with business and technology leaders to deliver strategic outcomes. The role requires strong leadership, exceptional organizational skills, executive communication capabilities, and the ability to navigate a fast-paced environment with competing priorities.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as Scrum Master for multiple Agile teams delivering AI, Data, Analytics, Cloud, and Infrastructure initiatives.
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Backlog Refinement, Daily Standups, Sprint Reviews, Retrospectives, PI Planning, and Scrum of Scrums.
- Manage cross-team dependencies, risks, issues, and executive escalations to ensure predictable delivery.
- Partner with Product Owners, Architects, Engineering Leaders, and Business Stakeholders to align priorities and delivery commitments.
- Drive portfolio-level visibility through roadmaps, dashboards, milestone tracking, and executive status reporting.
- Coach teams on Agile, Scrum, SAFe, Lean, and continuous improvement practices.
- Support AI initiatives by coordinating activities related to AI/ML solutions, data readiness, governance, business adoption, and value realization.
- Monitor team capacity, velocity, and delivery metrics to improve planning accuracy and throughput.
- Champion Jira governance, backlog management, reporting, and Agile best practices.
- Mentor junior Scrum Masters and Project Managers while helping establish consistent ways of working across the organization.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of Scrum Master, Agile Project Management, or Program Management experience.
- Experience managing multiple concurrent technology projects and Agile teams.
- Strong knowledge of Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, PI Planning, and Agile metrics.
- Experience supporting AI, Data & Analytics, Cloud, Infrastructure, or Digital Transformation initiatives.
- Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, and Agile reporting tools.
- Excellent stakeholder management and executive communication skills.
- Scrum certification (CSM, PSM, SAFe Scrum Master, SAFe SPC, or equivalent) preferred.
- Ability to influence without authority, resolve conflicts, and drive accountability across cross-functional teams.
