Our client is currently seeking a Payroll Consultant - UKG

Core Payroll Knowledge
- Knowledge of wage and hour regulations, including overtime calculations
- Familiarity with payroll taxes, deductions, and garnishments
- Experience processing employee status changes, including hires, terminations, and compensation changes
- Understanding of PTO, sick leave, and holiday pay calculations
- Ability to reconcile payroll data and identify discrepancies
- Understanding of payroll batches and bonus processing.
- Experience with payroll systems (UKG Ready preferred) (this one is a nice-to-have)
- Strong Excel skills, including VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and data reconciliation
- Knowledge of federal, state, and provincial payroll requirements (US and Canada)
- Experience preparing payroll reports and audit support documentation
