Job Title: Senior Technical Lead, Is Applications Development

Position Overview

Under general direction, formulates and defines system scope and objectives based on user needs. Devises or modifies procedures to solve complex problems considering computer equipment capacity and limitations, operating time, and form of desired results. Prepares detailed specifications from which programs will be written. Analyzes and revises existing system logic difficulties and documentation as necessary. Competent to work at the highest technical level of all phases of applications systems analysis activities. May use CASE tools. Provides guidance and training to less experience analysts.

This is a highly specialized individual contributor role that requires deep expertise from a professional / technical thought leader in their respective field or discipline. This position typically requires extensive experience in a specialized field and an advanced college degree or equivalent. The role requires expertise within a discipline in a specialized field. The job provides technical guidance and direction for his/ her area of specialization. The job requires good analytical skills as well as evaluative judgement based on the analysis of factual and qualitative information in complicated or novel situations. The complexity implied at this level of problem solving relates to the ability to filter, prioritize, analyze and validate potentially complex and dynamic material. This job typically requires a degree or equivalent and a minimum of 6 or more years experience.

3 must haves

1. Full stack development experience with and without AI tools like Claude Code. Tech stack we use are: React (front end), Flask (back end)

2. Data foundation: Databricks and Postgres

3. App security - SD Elements: Drive implementation of security countermeasures and compliance with enterprise Secure Development (SD) requirements.
