Position Summary
The Senior Project Manager, is responsible for leading highly strategic, initiatives from inception through execution and operationalization. This role oversees large-scale, multi-year programs involving executive leadership, business stakeholders, data and analytics teams, technology partners, vendors, cybersecurity, compliance, and operations teams.
Program Leadership
  • Lead one to two, multi-year AI transformation programs valued at multiple millions of dollars.
  • Develop and maintain integrated program plans, roadmaps, milestones, budgets, and resource plans.
  • Establish program governance, executive steering committees, and reporting structures.
  • Drive alignment across multiple business units, technology teams, and external partners.
  • Manage interdependencies across portfolios, projects, and strategic initiatives.
Executive Stakeholder Management
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for executive sponsors and senior leadership.
  • Prepare and deliver executive-level communications, status reports, and presentations.
  • Facilitate strategic decision-making and escalation management.
  • Build strong partnerships across business, clinical, operational, and technology organizations.
AI Program Delivery
  • Lead delivery of AI, Generative AI, Machine Learning, Intelligent Automation, Agentic AI, Data Platform, and Analytics initiatives.
  • Ensure projects adhere to enterprise AI governance, security, privacy, compliance, and risk management standards.
  • Coordinate business readiness, organizational change management, communications, and training activities.
  • Establish measurable business outcomes and value realization plans.
Financial and Resource Management
  • Develop and manage multi-year budgets and forecasts.
  • Monitor program financials, vendor contracts, SOWs, and resource allocations.
  • Track benefits realization, cost savings, operational efficiencies, and ROI.
  • Optimize resource utilization across multiple workstreams and teams.
Risk and Governance Management
  • Proactively identify and mitigate program risks, issues, and dependencies.
  • Establish RAID management processes and executive reporting.
  • Ensure adherence to organizational governance frameworks and project methodologies.
  • Lead program audits, compliance reviews, and executive checkpoints.
Agile and Delivery Excellence
  • Implement Agile, SAFe, Hybrid, and Waterfall delivery frameworks as appropriate.
  • Coordinate PI Planning, release planning, sprint reviews, and executive demonstrations.
  • Drive continuous improvement and delivery excellence across teams.
  • Mentor Project Managers, Scrum Masters, and Project Coordinators.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Healthcare Administration, Engineering, or related field.
  • 8+ years of Project or Program Management experience.
  • 5+ years leading large, enterprise-wide technology transformation initiatives.
  • Demonstrated success managing programs exceeding $5M in budget and multiple years in duration.
  • Experience managing executive stakeholders (VP, SVP, C-Level).
  • Strong experience with Agile, SAFe, and traditional project management methodologies.
  • PMP certification required strongly preferred.
  • SAFe Agilist, Scrum Master, or equivalent certification preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience delivering AI, Machine Learning, GenAI, Data Analytics, Cloud, or Digital Transformation programs.
  • Healthcare industry experience.
  • Experience managing vendor partnerships and consulting engagements.
  • Familiarity with AI governance, responsible AI principles, data governance, and cybersecurity frameworks.
