Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst with strong Commercial Card domain expertise to support the expansion of embedded banking capabilities within a growing payments and banking platform. This role will focus on integrating commercial card products into a digital banking ecosystem, enabling business customers to access card services directly through embedded experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead discovery sessions with stakeholders to understand existing commercial card products, processes, and operational workflows.
• Document current-state and future-state business processes related to commercial card issuance, servicing, underwriting, and support.
• Gather, analyze, and document business, functional, and operational requirements for commercial card integrations.
• Conduct gap analyses to identify process, technology, infrastructure, and operational changes required for the target-state solution.
• Evaluate requirements related to virtual card issuance and support for physical card fulfillment where applicable.
• Assess commercial card underwriting and credit approval processes and identify enhancements needed for embedded delivery models.
• Partner with product, operations, risk, compliance, technology, and business stakeholders to ensure requirements are clearly understood.
• Translate complex business needs into actionable requirements for development and implementation teams.
• Create process flows, user stories, use cases, business requirements documents, functional specifications, and UAT documentation.
• Support solution design, testing, and implementation activities throughout the project lifecycle.

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of Business Analyst or Business Systems Analyst experience within banking, payments, or financial services.
• Hands-on experience working with Commercial Card products and operations.
• Strong understanding of the commercial card lifecycle, including:
• Card issuance
• Account setup
• Transaction processing
• Servicing and support
• Operational controls
• Proven expertise in requirements gathering, stakeholder interviews, workshop facilitation, and process documentation.
• Experience creating current-state/future-state process maps and performing gap analysis.
• Ability to bridge communication between business stakeholders and technical teams.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office tools.
• Experience working independently in fast-paced and evolving environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with virtual commercial card programs and embedded card solutions.
• Knowledge of commercial card underwriting, credit risk, and credit-extension processes.
• Background in Embedded Banking, Banking-as-a-Service (BaaS), FinTech, or SaaS-integrated financial products.
• Familiarity with Visa and Mastercard commercial card ecosystems.
• Experience with card processing platforms and related payment technologies.
• Exposure to card fulfillment, card infrastructure, and physical card issuance processes.
• Broader payments experience involving ACH, wires, debit cards, treasury services, or digital banking transformation initiatives.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Knowledge of testing methodologies, including UAT planning and execution.
