The Judge Group is currently seeking a Business Solution Architect with experience in the Utilities sector to support a large ongoing project. This position is remote with occasional travel expected.

What You Will Do
· Lead business solution architecture across Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) and POMS, aligning business capabilities, processes, information, applications, integrations, and technology to operational outcomes.
· Partner with business leaders, subject-matter experts, product owners, technical architects, delivery teams, and client stakeholders to define practical current- and future-state solutions.
· Translate business objectives, operational procedures, and stakeholder needs into clear requirements, process improvements, solution concepts, and delivery priorities.
· Facilitate discovery sessions, interviews, workshops, and process-mapping activities that build shared understanding and drive decisions across ERM and POMS.
· Analyze end-to-end processes and information flows; identify gaps, dependencies, risks, and opportunities to improve usability, efficiency, transparency, and operational risk management.
· Define solution options and recommendations, including business impacts, constraints, dependencies, implementation considerations, and tradeoffs.
· Develop solution architecture artifacts such as capability maps, process models, requirements, use cases, information flows, decision logs, and implementation roadmaps.
· Work with product and delivery teams to refine requirements, define acceptance criteria, support solution reviews and testing, and communicate complex concepts to technical, business, and executive audiences.
What You Will Need
· Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
· Nine (9) or more years of experience in business architecture, solution architecture, business analysis, product management, consulting, or related roles supporting complex enterprise environments.
· Demonstrated experience supporting utility industry clients, operations, or business processes.
· Demonstrated experience translating business strategy, operational needs, and stakeholder requirements into implementable technology-enabled solutions.
· Experience leading discovery and requirements activities involving multiple stakeholder groups, business processes, applications, data sources, and delivery teams.
· Strong understanding of business architecture and solution design, including capabilities, process models, information flows, integrations, and target-state roadmaps.
· Experience working across enterprise applications, workflow systems, data and reporting platforms, integrations, and legacy or hybrid technology environments.
· Ability to evaluate solution alternatives, articulate tradeoffs, facilitate workshops, resolve ambiguity, build consensus, and produce clear client-ready artifacts.
· Strong stakeholder management, written communication, presentation, facilitation, and problem-solving skills with technical and non-technical audiences.
· Ability to work onsite in a client environment as required.
What Would Be Nice To Have
· Experience supporting program or portfolio management, compliance, audit, controls, or other highly governed business domains.
· Direct experience working with ERM and/or POMS platforms, or with comparable enterprise risk, operations, workflow, case management, or portfolio management solutions.
· Experience supporting modernization, digital transformation, enterprise platform implementation, system integration, or legacy system replacement initiatives.
· Relevant certification such as CBAP, TOGAF, IIBA, PMI, Scrum Product Owner, or another business, architecture, or delivery credential.
· Experience working in a consulting environment and coordinating delivery across client, vendor, and internal stakeholder groups.
