Our client is currently seeking a Medical Assistant


This job will have the following responsibilities:

• Room and prepare patients for examinations and procedures.
• Record accurate and timely patient information in medical records.
• Perform clinical duties within MA scope, including phlebotomy, specimen collection, EKGs, medication administration (non-IV), wound care, and staple removal.
• Assist physicians with patient care and coordinate follow-up care as directed.
• Operate, clean, sterilize, and perform quality checks on medical equipment.
• Maintain exam rooms by stocking supplies, cleaning, and organizing work areas.
• Follow infection control, safety, and patient confidentiality guidelines.
• Conduct patient intake and gather information via phone and in person.
• Support Standard Delegation of Orders (SDO) and clinic protocols.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Current nationally recognized Medical Assistant (MA) Certification, or the ability to obtain certification within 180 days of employment.
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification for healthcare providers (or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire).
• Knowledge of medical terminology.
