Project Overview

An autonomous vehicle technology organization is seeking a Compliance Technologies Manager to support its training solutions team. This role defines standards for vendor training compliance, creates accurate views for compliance data review, and establishes governance structures and processes for internal employees, partners, and partnering vendors.

Overall Responsibilities

This position drives compliance standards, data integrity, and vendor governance across internal operations and external vendor-managed networks within the autonomous technology sector.

Top 3 Daily Responsibilities

  • Data Reconciliation & Gap Analysis: Review data sources from different repositories, highlight data gaps, and investigate the reasons for discrepancies between internal systems, partner networks, and partnering vendors.
  • Vendor Governance & Alignment: Lead alignment meetings between internal teams and external vendors for training compliance, highlight out-of-compliance risks, and drive actionable steps to close gaps with vendor points of contact.
  • Dashboard & System Testing: Test enhancements to training compliance dashboards and solicit feedback on usability from internal stakeholders.

Skills

  • Compliance & Policy Frameworks :Description: Designing, defining, and standardizing compliance learning requirements tailored across multiple diverse lines of business (LOBs) for safety-critical industries.
  • Data Reconciliation & Data Integrity :Description: Cross-referencing, auditing, and validating internal proprietary data against external vendor-managed datasets to ensure total consistency and source-of-truth accuracy.
  • Vendor Governance & Third-Party Oversight :Description: Developing, establishing, and operating structured governance rhythms, audit cadences, and enforcement mechanisms for external suppliers, partners, and vendors.
  • Dashboard & Report Design :Description: Architecting intuitive reporting templates, executive scorecards, and automated compliance views (e.g., in Tableau, Looker, or Power BI) for varied operational and executive stakeholders.
  • Stakeholder Management & Cross-Functional Alignment :Description: Partnering across operations, legal, safety, vendor management, and product teams to drive buy-in, accountability, and compliance adherence.
  • Learning Management Systems (LMS) & Data Architecture :Description: Working with enterprise LMS platforms, data schemas, tracking logic, and API/CSV data exchange standards between multiple systems.

Mandatory Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree.
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience supporting operations teams with a vendorized workforce in a training or safety-related role.
  • Core Skills: Proficiency in compliance frameworks, vendor governance, data reconciliation, and cross-functional stakeholder management.
  • Tools & Certifications: Experience with at least one Learning Management System (LMS) and data visualization software (such as Tableau); proficiency with SQL/coding is a major plus.

Non-Essential Qualifications

  • Advanced familiarity with enterprise API data exchange schemas.
  • Prior technical background in database querying or advanced data analytics languages.
