Job Summary
Seeking a Workday HR Specialist to support HR Systems and Technology operations with a focus on Workday Core HCM, Organizational Management, integrations, testing, and HR data integrity. The ideal candidate will serve as a functional and technical resource, supporting system enhancements, troubleshooting complex issues, maintaining Workday configurations, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve HR processes and employee experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide support for Workday Core HCM and Organizational Management processes.
- Serve as a Tier 3 escalation resource for Workday system issues.
- Partner with HR stakeholders to define and optimize HR business processes within Workday.
- Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements.
- Translate functional requirements into technical documentation and system solutions.
- Support third-party vendor integrations and maintain related configuration documentation.
- Assist with system upgrades, patches, enhancements, and release testing activities.
- Execute functional, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Perform HR data audits, validation, and data integrity reviews.
- Investigate and resolve complex HR, payroll, and system-related issues.
- Collaborate with Payroll, Benefits, HR, and technical teams to perform root cause analysis and issue resolution.
- Document testing results, system configurations, integrations, and support processes.
- Recommend process improvements and system enhancements to improve operational efficiency and user experience.
- Maintain accurate records while ensuring confidentiality of employee information.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
- 1-3 years of Workday implementation, configuration, or support experience.
- Experience supporting Workday Core HCM and Organizational Management.
- Knowledge of HR processes, employee lifecycle transactions, and HR systems.
- Experience with requirements gathering and functional documentation.
- Hands-on experience with testing methodologies, including UAT and regression testing.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience performing data audits and ensuring data integrity.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting Workday integrations and third-party vendors.
- Exposure to payroll, compensation, recruiting, security, reporting, learning, or leave management modules.
- Experience with HP Octane or similar testing and ticket management tools.
- Experience supporting Workday upgrades and release management.
