Title: BI / Data Analyst (Discovery)

Location: Fully Remote

Duration: 4 Months Contract

Job Description : We are seeking a BI/Data Analyst to lead discovery and requirements gathering efforts across multiple service lines. This role will define business metrics, map data sources, create source-of-truth documentation, and support data validation activities. The ideal candidate will bridge business and technical teams by translating business requirements into clear data and metric specifications for engineering teams.

Must Have Skills

• Strong SQL for data profiling, analysis, validation, and reconciliation
• Requirements gathering and documentation
• KPI and metric definition/design
• Source-to-target data mapping
• Data dictionary and golden record concepts
• Experience with Snowflake and/or Databricks
• Stakeholder management and workshop facilitation

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct domain discovery and business requirement elicitation
• Map data sources to service lines and document dependencies
• Define KPI and metric logic for semantic/metrics layers
• Create source-of-truth documentation and pseudo data mart specifications
• Perform data validation, reconciliation, and tie-out analysis
• Facilitate stakeholder meetings, kickoffs, and working sessions
• Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure accurate metric implementation

Qualifications and Certifications Required

• Experience as a BI Analyst, Data Analyst, Business Analyst, or similar role
• Strong expertise in SQL and data analysis
• Experience with Snowflake and/or Databricks
• Healthcare Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) domain experience is preferred
• Semantic layer, metrics layer, and BI dashboard experience is a plus
• Exposure to AI-assisted analytics tools (e.g., Snowflake Cortex) is a plus
