Title: Transformation Program Management Consultant
Type: Contract
Location: Remote EST Hours - Onsite travel
We are seeking an experienced Transformation Program Management Consultant to support a multi-year Intelligent Batch Release transformation aimed at achieving 80% automated batch release by 2028. This role will provide program leadership, operational excellence, governance, and execution support across multiple digital transformation initiatives, including Review by Exception (RbE), Batch Release Cockpit (BRC), Batch Management Prioritization (BMP), Lot Release Protocol (LRP), and Batch Release Tracker (BRT).
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage an integrated program roadmap, milestones, dependencies, and deployment plans.
- Lead cross-functional coordination across Quality, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Digital, and business stakeholders.
- Create future-state process, capability, and integration models supporting release-by-exception and one-click disposition.
- Drive process improvement, simplification, automation, and operational excellence initiatives.
- Facilitate business requirements gathering, traceability, and solution readiness activities.
- Manage program governance, risks, issues, dependencies, and executive reporting.
- Develop KPIs, benefits realization metrics, and performance dashboards.
- Lead workshops, Kaizen events, process mapping, and stakeholder alignment sessions.
- Support organizational change management, implementation readiness, training, and adoption activities.
- Provide analytical and decision-support materials to senior leadership.
Required Qualifications
- Lean Six Sigma Black Belt (LSSBB) certification.
- 10+ years of experience in transformation, operational excellence, program management, or management consulting.
- Proven success leading large-scale enterprise transformation programs with multiple interconnected workstreams.
- Strong expertise in integrated planning, dependency management, governance, RAID management, and executive reporting.
- Experience leading end-to-end process transformation, process redesign, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Demonstrated ability to influence and align cross-functional teams across business, quality, manufacturing, supply chain, and technology organizations.
- Excellent executive communication, stakeholder management, and workshop facilitation skills.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and execution capabilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience leading digital transformation, workflow automation, system integration, and business process digitization initiatives.
- Biotechnology, pharmaceutical, medical device, or other regulated industry experience.
- Familiarity with GxP environments, manufacturing operations, batch release, disposition, or quality processes.
- Experience designing KPI frameworks, value realization programs, and performance measurement systems.
Success Measures
- Delivery of an integrated Intelligent Batch Release roadmap.
- Clear alignment across RbE, BRC, BMP, LRP, and BRT initiatives.
- Defined transition strategy for BRT capabilities.
- Effective governance, risk management, and executive reporting.
- Measurable progress toward the 80% automated batch release target.
- Sustainable program management processes transitioned to internal ownership.
