Senior Payroll Specialist (Remote | 12-Month Contract)
Position Details

• Duration: 12 Months Contract
• Location: 100% Remote

We are seeking an experienced Senior Payroll Specialist to join a dynamic payroll team and manage end-to-end payroll processing in a large enterprise environment. This is a hands-on payroll role requiring ownership, accountability, and deep expertise in payroll operations, compliance, taxes, earnings, and deductions.

Key Responsibilities

• Process payroll from start to finish for a large employee population
• Manage payroll cycles, audits, reconciliations, and discrepancy resolution
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations
• Partner with HR, Benefits, Retirement, and other cross-functional teams
• Support payroll reporting, validations, and process improvements

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of end-to-end payroll processing experience
• Strong knowledge of payroll taxes, earnings, deductions, and Time & Attendance
• Experience independently managing payroll operations and assigned workloads
• Understanding of payroll compliance and multi-state payroll processes
• Experience working in medium to large organizations
