Job Description : We are seeking an experienced Solution Architect / Tax Data Platform Architect to lead integration strategy, capability mapping, architecture planning, and gap analysis for a large-scale tax data platform. This role focuses on defining architecture patterns, evaluating platform capabilities, establishing integration standards, and translating business requirements into scalable platform solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong Databricks and Azure expertise and experience working in global, cross-functional environments.

Key Responsibilities
- Map tax business use cases and requirements to platform capabilities.
- Perform gap analysis and identify solution options (out-of-the-box, configuration, or custom build).
- Define architecture approaches and integration patterns for data platform adoption.
- Establish repeatable onboarding and integration frameworks.
- Translate business requirements into delivery-ready architecture designs.
- Provide technical recommendations, trade-off analysis, and roadmap input.
- Ensure alignment with data models, governance standards, and security requirements.
- Collaborate with global teams and stakeholders to drive architecture decisions.
Qualifications and Certifications Required
- Minimum 10+ years of overall IT experience.
- 3-6+ years in Solution Architect or Technical Architect roles.
- Experience designing cloud-based solutions across IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS environments.
- Strong expertise in Microsoft Azure architecture and data services.
- Working and architectural knowledge of Databricks ecosystem and Azure data technologies.
- Experience with data security models including RBAC and ABAC.
- Ability to lead technical discussions, architecture reviews, and integration planning initiatives.
- Travel availability (15%-20%, domestic and international).
