Position: Product Manager
Location: REMOTE with 10-25% travel to mid west
Duration Contract to hire
What You Will Do
· Define and drive product vision, strategy, and roadmap for data, analytics, and technology solutions aligned to client and business objectives.
· Partner with client stakeholders, users, and technical teams to identify needs, define requirements, and translate business objectives into product capabilities and user stories.
· Own and prioritize the product backlog, balancing business value, user needs, technical considerations, and delivery constraints.
· Partner with technical leads, developers, data engineers, analysts, and project managers throughout the product development lifecycle.
· Define product requirements, acceptance criteria, and success measures to ensure solutions meet business and user needs.
· Lead stakeholder discussions, product demonstrations, requirements workshops, and roadmap planning sessions.
· Gather user feedback and analyze product performance to identify opportunities for enhancement and continuous improvement.
· Communicate product priorities, roadmap decisions, progress, and tradeoffs to client stakeholders and leadership.
· Support product releases, user adoption, training, and change management activities.
What You Will Need
· Bachelor’s degree.
· Nine (9) or more years of experience in product management, product ownership, business analysis, or related technology roles in a consulting, government, or enterprise environment.
· Experience managing technology products or solutions involving data platforms, analytics, system integrations, or enterprise applications.
· Experience developing product roadmaps, defining requirements and user stories, and managing and prioritizing product backlogs.
· Hands-on experience with Jira or similar tools for backlog management, requirements tracking, and Agile delivery.
· Strong understanding of Agile product development practices and the software development lifecycle.
· Demonstrated ability to translate complex business and user needs into clear, actionable product requirements.
· Strong client-facing, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences.
· Ability to manage competing priorities and make informed product tradeoffs in a fast-paced environment.
· Ability to work onsite in a client environment as required.
What Would Be Nice To Have
· Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager, Pragmatic Institute, or other relevant product management certification.
· Experience supporting utility or energy-sector clients.
· Experience with data modernization, analytics, cloud, or digital transformation initiatives.
