Job Responsibilities

- administer and complete Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs) for veterans

- gather and synthesize clinical evidence through medical and military record review, diagnostic testing, interviews, and face-to-face evaluations

- develop medical opinions on whether conditions are related to their military service

Highlights

- flexible scheduling: half-days (4 hours) or full days (8 hours)

- examinations primarily consist of interviews

- low risk; no treatment or prescription of medications involved
