Our client is seeking a Senior Automation Engineer to join our Automation & Productivity team. In this role, you will lead the design, development, and support of intelligent automation solutions that drive operational efficiency across investment operations.

This is a hands-on engineering position that combines UiPath RPA development, AI/LLM integration, production support, and modern web application development. You will play a key role in identifying automation opportunities, architecting scalable solutions, and ensuring the reliability of mission-critical automation platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy end-to-end automation solutions using UiPath and related technologies.
• Analyze business processes and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and eliminate manual effort.
• Serve as the technical owner of production automation solutions, ensuring high availability and operational stability.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve automation incidents through root cause analysis and proactive remediation.
• Evaluate automation requests and determine the most effective solution using RPA, AI, or a hybrid approach.
• Develop React-based user interfaces, dashboards, and operational tools to support automation initiatives.
• Integrate AI capabilities using OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, and related technologies.
• Build and support AI-powered workflows utilizing RAG architectures, function calling, and agentic frameworks.
• Collaborate with Product Owners and business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable automation solutions.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, solution designs, process flows, and operational runbooks.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to automation standards, best practices, and code quality initiatives.
• Partner with enterprise automation teams to drive innovation and adoption of emerging automation technologies.

Technical Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with UiPath development and automation architecture
• Experience designing and supporting enterprise-scale RPA solutions
• Proficiency in React and TypeScript
• Experience building and consuming REST APIs
• Hands-on experience integrating LLM/AI platforms such as OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, or Anthropic
• Experience with GitHub Actions, CI/CD pipelines, and source control practices
• Strong knowledge of automation lifecycle management and production support
