Senior Generative AI Engineer (Multiple Openings)

Location: Remote (U.S. Only)
Duration: Contract | Up to 18 Months
About the Role

My client is building a new enterprise Generative AI practice and seeking Senior Generative AI Engineers to help develop foundational AI platforms, RAG solutions, agentic AI frameworks, governance controls, and enterprise AI services.

This is a unique opportunity to join a highly visible initiative and help shape the AI Center of Excellence from the ground up.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop enterprise GenAI applications and services
  • Build and optimize RAG pipelines and agent-based workflows
  • Implement AI testing, evaluation, monitoring, and governance controls
  • Integrate OpenAI, Anthropic, and future LLM platforms
  • Collaborate with engineering, platform, and business teams to deliver AI solutions
  • Contribute to AI platform enablement and best practices

Required Qualifications

  • Recent hands-on experience building Generative AI applications
  • Strong experience with LLM-based solutions
  • Proven RAG architecture experience
  • Experience with Agentic AI frameworks and workflows
  • Knowledge of prompt engineering and prompt injection mitigation
  • Experience with AI evaluation and testing frameworks
  • Strong software engineering background
  • Ability to discuss recent GenAI projects in depth

Preferred Qualifications

  • LangGraph and/or LangChain
  • OpenAI and Anthropic experience
  • Azure AI Foundry
  • AWS Bedrock or Google Vertex AI
  • CI/CD for AI solutions
  • Financial services or regulated industry experience

Azure AI Foundry, Azure APIM, OpenAI, Anthropic, LangGraph, RAG Architectures, Agentic AI Frameworks, AWS Bedrock (planned), and Google Vertex AI (planned).
