Our client is currently seeking a Senior Cloud DBA - PostgreSQL & Databricks Lakehou

Job Responsibilities:

• Administer and optimize PostgreSQL databases (HA/DR, replication, backup/recovery, partitioning).
• Support Databricks Lakehouse, Delta Lake, Spark, PySpark, and SQL workloads.
• Lead Oracle and SQL Server migrations to PostgreSQL and Databricks.
• Convert PL/SQL and T-SQL code to PL/pgSQL, Databricks SQL, or PySpark.
• Perform query tuning, performance optimization, and data modeling.
• Build and support ETL/ELT pipelines using Databricks, PySpark, SQL, ADF, or Airflow.
• Implement data security, governance, and compliance controls.
• Provide technical leadership and mentor junior team members.

Must Have/Required:

• 8+ years of Database Administration and Data Platform Engineering experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with PostgreSQL Administration and Databricks Lakehouse.
• Expertise in Spark, PySpark, SQL, Delta Lake, and performance tuning.
• Proven Oracle → PostgreSQL and SQL Server → PostgreSQL migration experience.
• Strong knowledge of PL/SQL, T-SQL, PL/pgSQL, data modeling, and ETL/ELT development.
• Experience with cloud PostgreSQL platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
